App Terms of Service

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the HostGuru app you agree to these terms and to our App Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2 The App

The App is a mobile interface to your HostGuru client account. It is provided free of charge. You may use it only for its intended purpose: accessing and managing your own HostGuru account, services, domains, invoices and support tickets. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for that purpose.

3 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or refuse access to the App at our discretion where we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud or a breach of these terms.

Account deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via legal@hostguru.co.ke. We process valid requests promptly and delete related personal data, except where retention is required by law.

4 Services & Billing

The App lets you order, renew and manage hosting and domain services. All orders, pricing, billing cycles, renewals and payment terms are governed by our general Terms of Service and the terms presented at checkout. Payments collected in the App are processed on our secure payment pages; we do not store your full card details.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App: no reverse engineering, decompiling or scraping; no automated or abusive load; no attempts to interfere with, or gain unauthorised access to, the App, our servers or other users’ accounts; and no use that breaches applicable law, including Kenya’s computer misuse legislation.

6 Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code and branding are owned by or licensed to HostGuru. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted by law.

7 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HostGuru makes no warranties regarding availability, reliability or fitness of the App for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, HostGuru shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App and by updating the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
